The Galaxy A04e has a 6.5-inch display and is powered by a Helio G35 chipset. Running on the Android 12, One UI Core 4.1, the device packs 32GB 2GB RAM / 64GB 3GB RAM& 128GB of internal storage. Coming to cameras, it has a dual-camera system that consists of a 13 MP + 2 MP and a 5 MP front camera for selfies. A 5,000 mAh Battery powers the AO4e.

Build and Design

Samsung Galaxy A04e weighs 188g and measures 164.2 x 75.9 x 9.1 mm. It has a large, water-drop display in the front and a minimalist back panel that features two camera lenses, a circular casing, an LED Flash, and the Samsung logo. The body frame and back cover are made of plastic, while the front is glass. The Galaxy A04e is available in 3 color variants: Black, Copper, and Light Blue.

Display

It features a large, 6.5-inch PLS LCD with a ~81.8% screen-to-body ratio. The display has a 720 x 1600 pixels (~270 PPI density) resolution and an average refresh rate of 60Hz. It is not one of the brightest displays available for Samsung, but it will give you a decent user experience as you use the device.

Camera Set Up.

Samsung Galaxy A04e features a front-facing 5 MP, f/2.2 camera, which is quite basic. The front lens can record videos, although Samsung could do better with the resolution.

At the back, the Galaxy AO4e packs a dual camera set-up consisting of a 13 MP, f/2.2, (wide), AF camera + 2 MP, f/2.4, (depth) sensor. The pair will enable you to capture average snaps and videos (1080p@30fps).

Performance

The Samsung handset is an entry-level handset with scaled-down features, which lower its performance compared to other Samsung handsets. It runs on Android 12, One UI Core 4.1 OS. You will access upgraded applications and software and a smooth interface to maximize your utility with the device. It is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G35 chipset and an Octa-core (2.3 GHz & 1.8 GHz). With this processing unit, one can have an average experience running things.

However, only have a few expectations, considering the device is stripped down and the lowest in the Galaxy AO4 series. You can choose from the various internal space options available on the models on retail: 32GB 2GB RAM / 64GB 3GB RAM. At least 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, in addition to the MicroSDXC, will give you a decent performance.

Network & Connectivity

Samsung Galaxy A04e is a 4G- enabled handset. It supports GSM / HSPA / LTE network technology and HSPA and LTE speeds. For the 4G network, the uploading and downloading experience should be decent on the device, considering it supports up to 4G networks. For connectivity and better communication, the A04e comes equipped with WLAN (Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct) for easy wireless connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0, A2DP, LE for BT pairing, GPS (GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS) for location, tracking and getting accurate bearings when motoring and visiting unfamiliar areas, USB Type-C 2.0, USB On-The-Go for fast data transfer with other devices having USB ports, Accelerometer and Proximity Sensors. A 3.5mm hack enables hands-free connection to your earphones or headphones as you listen to an MP3 hitlist or downloaded video as you commute to or from work.

Battery

The device comes with a massive 5,000mAh, which is commendable considering how stripped down it is. However, it has no fast charger and does not support reverse charging. Important to note is the fact that the Samsung Galaxy AO4e does not have a fingerprint scanner. It does not support NFC and Radio.
